Bringing Leading HR Practices to The Fore

The Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) is a not-for-profit professional organisation that owns a strong network of over 3,000 members and organisations that collectively represent the interest of some 750,000 employees in Singapore. Founded in 1965, SHRI promulgates sound, effective and appropriate human resource practices. An active player in the HR scene, local and regional, SHRI organises events such as The Singapore HR Congress and Business-Connect Exposition, The Singapore HR Awards and The Singapore HR Challenge as platforms to connect the members of the HR community and to enhance their capability and professional development.

Establishing HR Profession through HR Accreditation
As a HR professional body, SHRI takes pride in recognising and acknowledging the significant contribution the HR profession has made, and continues to make, to many organisations and businesses. Establishing the HR profession is important as the HR profession needs to establish itself as a credible brand. Through HR accreditation, SHRI raises the bar of the HR profession here, its recognition, standing and reputation. With accreditation, a HR practitioner has a competitive edge as it simply means that the accredited practitioner has avowed high standards and good people management practice.

Today, SHRI continues to ace the HR industry, partnering world-class organisations, advocating progressive HR to leading HR thinkers and influential leaders, connecting them and enhancing their knowledge power to stay abreast of current HR issues and government policies. With an excellent track record of helping HR practitioners and organisations manage, influence and build people for the last 45 years, at SHRI, we drive the HR agenda.
