The Japan Society for Human Resource Management, JSHRM, was created in 2000 with the aim to establish the HRM professionalism in Japan. As the only membership organization for HR professionals of our country, JSHRM developed many activities such as HR cafe, monthly seminars on latest HR issues, HRM basic/advanced courses, and various publications. In addition, JSHRM is a Japanese representative organization of World Federation of People Management Associations, consisting of world 70 countries, about 400,000 members and cooperates with the United States talented person management association (SHRM) and offers the latest global HRM information to members.

JSHRM annual conference
August 25, 2010

JSHRM hold its annual conference on July/August in Tokyo. More than 200 participants gather to experience the keynote speakers and approximately 10 concurrent sessions, held on diverse HR topics.

Publication

JSHRM publishes a bimonthly membership magazine called "JSHRM Insights".
